Modelling of post-surgical body mass index. Total weight loss (TWL) data were modelled from fitting of patient observational data stratified into trajectory groups as presented in the report by Courcoulas et al. [10] The post-surgical TWL fits were applied to a cohort with a baseline body mass index of 46.2 ± 7.4 kg/m2 to determine the BMI of each trajectory over the 10 years post-surgery. Bands correspond to 95% confidence intervals of prediction around the fitted lines
