  1. Subscale means are based on an answer of 1 for disagree and 2 for agree to questionnaire statements. For the socializing subscale, 1 indicates less acceptance of socializing with people with a mental illness (and 2 indicates more acceptance). For the normalizing scale, 1 indicates less favorable attitudes towards normalized activities and relationships with people with mental illness (and 2 indicates more favorable). For the witchcraft subscale, an answer of 1 indicates a belief that witchcraft does not cause mental illness (and 2 indicates a belief that it does). Numbers in the parentheses are the standard deviations
