Navigation

•This is usually a time-limited service

•Navigators aim to reduce barriers preventing families from successfully accessing services

•Navigators provide information, advice, education, and emotional support

Coordination

•Coordination emerged as the most multidimensional and comprehensive set of services

•Coordination was distinguished by its longitudinal approach

•Prominent domains included integration of services across disparate systems and agencies, a focus on improved health and behavior, and acting in client-directed, family-centred, and collaborative ways
