Adaptation of the health belief model and theory of planned behavior to explain vaccine uptake. We adopted these theoretical models from the concepts of the Health Belief Model and Theory of Planned Behavior. These models show that beliefs and perceptions can influence attitudes towards vaccination, which leads to an assessment of behaviors and influences behavioral intentions to vaccinate by ultimately visiting a health center.
