Depending on the reason for infrequency, tasks may be considered for development or revision of pre-service education (PSE) curricula or for in-service trainings for working HEWs. |
High criticality + not able to perform safely | Provide in-service training, mentorship, and supervision for working HEWs and reconsider pre-service education. |
High criticality + never trained | Tasks within the HEW scope of practice should be considered during development or revision of pre-service education curricula. Adding targeted in-service trainings provides the skills for working HEWs. |
