Time to treatment split for year. Calendar days from the when the hospital received the referral letter for suspected lung cancer until start of treatment. Non-complex patients were defined as having ≤1 tissue diagnostic procedure and no medical delay of >3 days, complex patients as having >1 tissue diagnostic procedure and/or medical delay of >3 days. The reference lines refer to the Norwegian recommendations for timely lung cancer treatment, which are 42 days for surgery and radiotherapy, and 35 days for systemic therapy
