  1. • Small pharmacies were defined as pharmacies with a reported total number of patients of less than 50 per day. Such pharmacies were typically independent pharmacies, unattached to a doctors’ clinic
  2. • Medium pharmacies were defined as pharmacies with a reported total number of patients between 51 and 99 per day. Such pharmacies usually were attached to a doctors’ clinic that serviced a relatively small number of patients
  3. • Large pharmacies were defined as pharmacies with a reported total number of 100 or more patients per day. Such pharmacies were usually attached to a busy doctors’ clinic
