Who to train?

Lead HCP at each site. Whole MDT receive broader, less in-depth training

Who to deliver training?

Psychologist or another trained professional from outside the MDT

Intensity of training?

Lead at each site receiving 4 × 2 h sessions, 2 to 3 weeks apart. Mentoring and support via email or telephone ‘hotline.’ MDT should receive a half-day training session.

Format of training?

Problem-based learning in a group setting using role plays and case studies

Setting?

Convenient location for HCPs

Content of HCP training not defined. It was noted that training on BCTs would need to be tailored to this specific intervention.
