The arrows describe the BCI influence on the dimensions Direction (D), Competence (C), Opportunity (O) and Motivation (M). A dotted arrow indicates a weak influence on the dimension; a single-lined arrow indicates a medium influence; and a double-lined arrow indicates a strong influence. A minus sign at the end of the arrow indicates a negative influence on the dimension. The effect of teamwork perceived by staff is an implicit result of BCIs rather than a BCI in itself, and is thereby categorized in a separate box.
